Comparison of Ford Trucks

Ford offers three truck models for the modern and tough driver. The F-150, F-250, and F-350 have been a reliable series for over 60 years. Considered a perfect work truck, the F-series brings a lot to the table for the driver. If you are looking to purchase a strong and reliable truck in the near future, consider one of these options.

Ford F-150

The F-150 is the smallest of the F-series truck line. A 0.5-ton truck, it is great for towing smaller items such as trailers or all-terrain vehicles. It is considered to be a light-duty truck and has a lighter chassis then its other F-series counterparts.

The truck gives its passengers more leg room and head room for its six passengers than the other two models. The truck is considered more comfortable and a more sensible option if you are looking for ease of drive more so than towing power and capacity.

Car dealerships in Barrington can allow you a test drive of this model and the other two models in the series.

Ford F-250

The F-250 is the next size up in the F-series line. The truck can move and tow more weight than the F-150. It is considered a 0.75-ton truck and is made for power and driving reliability. The cab is slightly smaller than that of the F-150 and provides a few less inches of head and leg space. While it is still a comfortable drive, its main focus is not the aesthetics.

Ford F-350

The F-350 is a full one-ton truck. Like the F-250, this is a super duty truck that tows the heaviest of loads out of the three in the series. There is little difference between this model and the F-250 when it comes to payload and towing ability. It also has a smaller passenger cab than the F-150, but still is able to fit six passengers comfortably. It is a power truck that can tow just about anything that needs to be moved.
